An introductory chapter describes general surgical principles and subsequent chapters then cover surgery of the head and neck, abdominal surgery, ophthalmic surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and amputations. It is aimed particularly at practitioners who perform surgery relatively frequently, at practitioners within the mixed practice, and at veterinary students who require an overall grasp of all the surgical techniques required in general practice.
